I’m a geographer by training with 30 years of remote sensing expertise. Remote sensing is my passion and profession. I’m convinced that solving questions related to environmental and global change need both: a stark methodological expertise in remote sensing and geoinformation analysis and a deep understanding of the geographic problem to be solved. I therefore strive to link advanced remote sensing methods (e.g. from machine learning or big data analysis) with land systems analysis.
